Welcome to Speed Hub: Where Shopify Performance Gets Personal (and Occasionally Weird)

Hey there, fellow Shopify entrepreneurs, curious builders, and the occasional “I-just-copy-paste-and-hope-it-works” devs (no judgment, we’ve all been there).

I’m Rade Santrac, Founder & CEO of Page Speed Group, and I spend my days deep in the Shopify trenches—optimizing stores, diagnosing strange performance drops, and occasionally muttering at Google’s Core Web Vitals like it’s a sentient being.

Why This Blog?

Over the years, I’ve run into (and built) a ton of insights, weird bugs, clever workarounds, and moments of clarity that shaped how we approach speed and performance. From quick wins to deep dives, I realized: it’s too valuable not to share.

So I created Speed Hub—a place where performance talk meets practicality. Whether you're a store owner, a manager, or a dev trying to keep things fast and smooth, this space is for you.

What You’ll Find Here

This isn’t another “how to install an app” guide. Think of it more like a behind-the-scenes tour of performance:

✅ Industry insights from someone who lives and breathes performance
✅ Quick fixes for annoying Shopify issues
✅ Weird but brilliant hacks that solve problems in unexpected ways
✅ Powerful snippets to speed up workflows
✅ Personal thoughts and strategies for long-term Shopify page speed and sustainability

Each post will be actionable, honest, and rooted in experience. And when I share code, I’ll drop a GitHub repo so you can use it, build on it, or just bookmark it for a rainy day.

Want These in Your Inbox?

I’ll also be sending out a newsletter every time I post something new here. You'll get it straight in your inbox. No spam. No filler. Just useful, human-first content to help your store (and brain) run faster.

So, welcome to Speed Hub—a blog where curious minds get to explore, fix, and create strategy of Shopify page speed.. First code snippet coming soon. Stay tuned! 🚀
